My Eulogy to My Professor Came from a Grateful Heart

    March 14th, 2010 by admin

When the professor who had mentored me throughout not only college but well into my career years passed away recently, I asked for permission to speak at his funeral. I felt that I wanted to represent the vast number of students who had passed safely through his tutelage and became successful in their careers because of him. In my eulogy speech, I reminded funeral friends and family of how much he influenced my life and countless others as well. His legacy lives on in us as we try to live out the dreams that he helped inspire. I teach today because I once had an amazing teacher for a model.
