Major Degrees to Succeed in Licensed Practical Nurse Employment
August 10th, 2010 by admin
It is important for any aspiring LPN to finish a degree first from accredited nursing schools. There are three major degrees to choose from which employees would likely prefer nursing applicants to take. These degrees will likely contribute to a successful Licensed Practical Nurse employment. These include Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a diploma. BSN programs usually take about 4 years to complete while AND programs can be finished to 2 to 3 years. Those who prefer to take programs where you can earn diplomas can also last up to 3 years. Most nursing students opt to take either the BSN degree or the AND. Both of these degrees are found out to be more beneficial than taking the diploma programs.
