    The stiffer the Squash Racket

    August 16th, 2010 by admin

If you are into squash the way I am, you will be having your own opinion and thoughts about squash racquets. If you are taking the baby steps of the game or even if you have advanced to the average level, the best-suited racquet is in the $100 range. This gives you the freedom to break more racquets, without grudging the cash loss, as you improve your skills in squash. On the other hand, if you are planning to go professional, it is better to invest in brands like Black Knight, Head, Prince or Dunlop who are well known for their quality. Of course, it would put you down by $ 200 or more. So purchase should be done according to your need, professional or amateur. For me, comfort of use is important when choosing a racquet. I like the ones with stiffness and weight, which I can comfortably use during my game sessions. I pitch for the lighter racquet, having put up with many elbow and shoulder injuries for sometime. The stiffer the Squash Racket the lesser the vibration. It thus helps to prevent injury during games.
