    The ideal grip in executing a tennis serve is the continental grip. The grip is really important to hit an accurate and steady tennis serve. The continental grip is utilized mainly for serves, volleys, slices, offensive and defensive shots. The correct way to use the continental grip is by putting the base knuckle of your index finger on bevel No. one, this will place the V created by your thumb and forefinger on top of the handle. Left-handed tennis players should put the knuckle on bevel No. 4. Understanding the basics in tennis and continuously practicing it will allow you to have a good tennis game.
