    Though electronic noses stop to join the fray of sniffing dogs,

    Meantime scientists are engrossed in creating an electronic sniffing device that can “smell” as healthy as a dog. Reporting to CNN, Yushan Yan, a professor in the University of California and his team up are involved with such a picture.The device will be hand held and will confirm to be an asset in airport protection, baggage insuring and in military procedures, matching to Yan. The advantage, reporting to the professor, is that the device can be deployed with no laying out capital period and money on education and sustentation, as one given do with dogs.With the flourishing completion of this scheme would the want for sniffer dogs decline? This we will have to linger and watch…..Though electronic noses stop to join the fray of sniff dogs, there are efforts to create an “ideal” sniffer dog. Seven cloned sniffer dogs, the first of its variety in the public were born in South Korea in 2007. They are termed “Toppy” meaning Tomorrow’s Puppy and are born of three surrogate dams in a $300 million see funded by the state.The “Toppies” seem to own all the hereditary qualities and behavior that unitedly lone out an efficient sniffer dog, reporting to Lee Ho the South Korean Customs Representative.
