A Wood Guide Would be Nice

    August 31st, 2010 by admin

I’m an amateur wood worker in need of a good wood guide.  I have many books I have purchased on how to do something specific, or images of products, but I don’t have a reference guide to give me simple details and info on species of wood.  I figure out what kind of project I want to start, but often times I stall when it comes to choosing what type of wood would be best.  I know there are a lot of options out there that would be equally good, but I’m interested in knowing what makes them different, what are advantages and disadvantages to both.  A wood guide would be perfect to reference when I have these questions.
