The Visits Bring Him a Sense of Peace

Every few months my husband and I go to the cemetery where his parents are buried. I know how hard this is for him to do even after all this time but I really admire him for taking the time nonetheless. We had made plans to go this past Saturday when I reminded him we needed to stop and buy flowers on the way there. We will usually choose some type of flowering plant rather than cut flowers because that type seems to last so much longer. When we got there we knelt down and put the plants in the headstone containers. Even though it saddens him I can tell that these visits bring him a sense of peace.
