The Nuwave Oven has both devotees and detractors
July 30th, 2010 by admin
The Nuwave Oven has both devotees and detractors among consumers who have bought one. A google of the name yields a panoply of both good and bad reviews regarding it. One negative is the number of US citizens reporting that when they ordered their Nuwave at the manufacturer’s website, that they were charged for more than they requested and even were shipped more units than they had asked for. Some customers have opined that the shipping costs they paid were exorbitant, apparently due to the postage for purportedly complimentary extras that were promised in promotions. Others claim that when they cook meat in the oven, it fails to crisp, and still others say it takes significantly longer to cook food in it than was asserted in the advertising. However, on the positive side, many buyers rave about the Nuwave and report no issues with it. Those who bought their ovens from an authorized outlet seemed to avoid the sort of problems reported by those who ordered online. Bottom line: no one seems to disagree with the premise held forth by Nuwave that its oven allows animal fats to drip out of foods which are rich in such fats, thereby reducing cholesterol levels.
