Grandmother’s Happiness Means Everything to Me

It was a sad day in our family when my grandmother had to be put in a nursing home. I could not bring myself to go see her because I was feeling so guilty. My mother kept telling me that she is happy and I should go to see for myself. So, I decided to plan a trip for the next weekend and spend all day with her. I was shaking like a leaf when I walked in the door. I could not believe it when I saw my grandmother laughing at the really funny jokes that were being told. She was looking the happiest that I have seen her in a long time.
